This Privacy Policy explains how Speaw (United Kingdom), trading as datdzn, ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit datdzn.com (the “Site”), create an account, buy one of our products through a marketplace, use a product that validates its license with our servers, or contact us for support. We process personal data in line with the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR. By using our services you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of data:
Account data: your name, email address and password, or the identifier returned by Google or Microsoft if you sign in with those providers; your Discord username and BuiltByBit username if you connect them; and your avatar.
Sign-in data: IP address, device and browser type, the time of your last sign-in, and an approximate city-level location used to warn you about sign-ins from a new device.
Purchase data: the marketplace order number, product, amount paid, license key, the domain or panel the license is bound to, and the IP address at the time of purchase. Payments are handled by the marketplace you buy from; we never see or store card details.
License validation data: each time a product checks its license we record the IP address, domain, product, timestamp and approximate location of the request. This is how we detect shared or leaked keys.
Support data: messages you send us by email or through a support ticket on our Discord server, including the ticket transcript and an automatically generated summary of it.
Usage data: pages visited, referrer and device information collected by our analytics tool through cookies.
2. How we use your information
To create and manage your account and to deliver the products and updates you have bought.
To issue, validate and manage license keys, and to enforce the license terms in our Terms of Service.
To provide support and to keep a record of past tickets so we can help you faster next time.
To send transactional emails: verification, receipts, product updates, support replies and license status changes.
To send marketing emails about new products and offers, only if you opt in. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
To detect and prevent fraud, license abuse and payment disputes, and to keep evidence of them.
To understand how the Site is used and to improve it.
To comply with legal obligations, including tax and accounting rules.
3. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences, and analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to measure traffic. Analytics cookies are only set after you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time from the banner or your browser settings; the Site keeps working without analytics cookies, but not without essential ones.
4. Third-party services
We rely on the following providers to run our services. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:
Marketplaces (BuiltByBit, sourceXchange and the WHMCS Marketplace): payment processing, order records and delivery of purchased files.
Discord: support tickets, community roles and announcements. Ticket content is stored on Discord's servers and mirrored to our systems.
Google and Microsoft: optional sign-in providers. We only receive your name, email address and avatar.
Hetzner (Germany): hosting of the Site, the license service and our databases.
Google Analytics: aggregated website usage statistics.
Our own mail service: delivery of transactional and, if you opted in, marketing emails.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
5. How long we keep your data
Account data: for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account we remove it within 30 days, except where we must keep it under this policy.
Purchase and license records: 10 years, to meet tax and accounting obligations and to keep validating your license for as long as you use the product.
Sign-in logs: 30 days.
License validation logs: 30 days for routine checks. Records linked to suspicious activity, a suspension, a ban or a payment dispute are kept indefinitely as evidence.
Support tickets and their summaries: for as long as your account exists, so that your support history stays available to you and to us.
Analytics data: as configured in Google Analytics, currently 14 months.
6. Security
All traffic to the Site and the license service is encrypted with HTTPS. Data is stored in access-controlled databases in Hetzner data centres in Germany. Passwords are stored as salted hashes and are never readable by us. Access to personal data is limited to people who need it to run the service. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we will notify you and the relevant authority if a breach affects your data.
7. Where your data is processed
Our servers are located in Germany (EU). Some providers listed above, such as Discord, Google, Microsoft and the marketplaces, may process data in the United States or other countries. Where that happens we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can:
Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy.
Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
Ask us to delete your data, unless we must keep it for legal or evidential reasons described above.
Ask us to restrict processing or object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
Withdraw consent at any time, for example by unsubscribing from marketing emails or rejecting analytics cookies.
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, or with the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] from the address on your account. We respond within 30 days.
9. Age limit
Our services are for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or buy a product. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top always shows the current version. If a change materially affects how we use your data we will email the address on your account before it takes effect.
